6/21/10 The Scholarship and Awards sections have been updated with this year's recipients. The 2010 WAA Scholarship recipients are Edenilson Rodrigo Bran, Cindy Liu, and Leme Tu Tran. The 2010 Jimmy Dix Award recipients are Anthony Lopez and Mai Thy Nguyen. Congratulations!

3/03/10 The Oakland High boys basketball team is seeded #1 in the OAL playoffs and will play in the championship game at Laney College on Saturday, March 6th, 2009 at 2PM.

10/27/08 The Oakland High football team rallied within the last two minutes of the game to defeat Oakland Tech 19-16 on Friday. Oakland High's record is currently 5-2 overall, 1-1 OAL. Read about the exciting finish by clicking the link below.

9/29/08 An article about Maurice Williams, C/O 2004 has been posted in the Wildcat News section. Maurice has recently been selected as one of two recipients of the prestigious Millennium Momentum Foundation (MMF) Best & Brightest scholarship award. You can read about it by clicking on the link at the bottom of this post.

The Oakland High football team defeated Balboa 55-13 on Saturday to move to 2-1 so far in the preseason.

9/20/08 The Oakland High football team defeated American (Fremont) 48-7 yesterday at home. Their record would have been 2 wins and 0 losses but due to a forfeit (ineligible player) of last week's victory against St. Mary's, they stand at 1-1 so far in the preseason.
